I haven’t seen a tv or newscast since Wednesday, But I have taken a few moments each day to follow the travesty currently being foisted upon the Lebanese people by Israel. I, for one, do not condone or support the brutality that Israel is unleashing on the country of Lebanon. If you have a strong stomach this morning, you might want to check out this blog. The name of the blog is Red State Son. It doesn’t allow comments, but after you view these pictures you probably won’t have alot to say anyway. But my hope is that you will be angry, pissed, upset and ready to rail against our government for supporting Israel’s current actions. The kitten pic to the left has nothing to do with the plight of the Lebanese, its just a stupid cruel picture..which represents to me, what Israel is doing in the middle east as we all eat our lunches and go on with our daily lives.Or another way of looking at it..The G-8, and the Shrub in particular fiddle while Rome burns..

Thank you for your thoughts ahmed. I do not fear GOD. And I believe he is a loving god that hates when bombs are dropped in his name. I beleive he gets really fucking pissed when people use his name to kill people..give peace a chance..its the only way to avoid the big, final world war that is looming on the horizon.

I also think whoever or whatever is running the universe doesn’t particularly give a shit if you’re circumsized, keep kosher, wear a hat or beard, sleep with the same sex, attend services, etc…The problem these days is fundamentalism in ALL religions.

Does anyone wonder if the corporations will stop the war to manipulate the price of oil and feed consumerism…how much power do they have in global heatups like this?
I did read the Alternet article DP..they,meaning the corporate world love this kinda shit. They can jack up Oil prices to kingdom come, which drives up the prices of other products.Glenda, watch the price of Oil by the barrel, its edging up as we speak.
stop the war?no way. they will NEVER stop this war until all the oil fields have been privatized and carved up and the output capped and controlled according to OPEC, BP, Exxon, etc..
