Insurgents = Saudi’s

The NYT, tells us once again, that the main contingent of ‘freedom fighters’ from out of town so to speak.. in Iraq comes from..Wait for it.

Saudi Arabia and Libya, both considered allies by the United States in its fight against terrorism, were the source of about 60 percent of the foreign fighters who came to Iraq in the past year to serve as suicide bombers or to facilitate other attacks, according to senior American military officials. The data come largely from a trove of documents and computers discovered in September, when American forces raided a tent camp in the desert near Sinjar, close to the Syrian border. The raid’s target was an insurgent cell believed to be responsible for smuggling the vast majority of foreign fighters into Iraq.

They also go on to point out another obvious fact: The records also underscore how the insurgency in Iraq remains both overwhelmingly Iraqi and Sunni.-How many times does it have to be printed in black and white before BushCo will quit filling our ears with bs?

Your guess is as good as mine. But I do notice that Iran isn’t even ‘on the map’ so to speak..

Saudis are doing "their best"..LMAO!

It was very hard not to hoot and holler when I read this article in the LAT website late tonight.I mean really, who the hell are the Saudi’s kidding? Its still the Sunni’s versus the Shia’s and I highly doubt those rat bastards that bred the majority of the 9/11 hijackers are doing squat to stem the tide of Saudi insurgents flooding into Iraq. But still..check out what their foreign minister had to say on the subject:

“I was astounded by what he said, especially since we have never heard from him these criticisms when he was here,” Faisal said, when asked by reporters about Khalilzad’s comments. “I ascribed that to his being in the United Nations in New York and not in Iraq.”

See, Khalilzad had the nads in a NYT writeup last month to finger the Saudi’s in a thinly veiled accusation that “some friends of the United States” that neighbor Iraq “are pursuing destabilizing policies” toward Baghdad.

This all came up because Condo and Gates..the traveling snake-oil sales team just paid a visit to Saudi Arabia. They are on their world tour evidently. Kissing some ass and handing out arms and munition promises to the *cough*loyal Bushies.

Gawd..give me and effin break.

BushCo wants to give the Saudi’s a huge Arms Deal…

I almost swallowed my tongue when I read the headline at the NYT at 1am: U.S. Set to Offer Huge Arms Deal to Saudis. The reason is that many folks, such as myself, are still convinced the Saudi’s are part of the problem in the middle east.

Thats because most of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia. Also the majority of insurgents from outside Iraq are not Iranians..they are Saudi’s my dear reader..

So, what does BushCo have planned for these smarmy individuals? Why they plan on giving them plenty of firepower..all told..roughly $20 Billion dollars in arms. From the NYT link above, we get a laundry list of what BushCo wants to give these batshit crazy folks:

The proposed package of advanced weaponry for Saudi Arabia, which includes advanced satellite-guided bombs, upgrades to its fighters and new naval vessels, has made Israel and some of its supporters in Congress nervous. Senior officials who described the package on Friday said they believed that the administration had resolved those concerns, in part by promising Israel $30.4 billion in military aid over the next decade, a significant increase over what Israel has received in the past 10 years.

Isn’t that just wonderful? So..we just arm BOTH sides of the Middle East crisis to solve the problem..Christ, what assholes are running this looney bin?

Most Outside Insurgents in Iraq Come from Saudi Arabia

With Bush and his military minds spouting hate and discontent towards anything Iranian..this story in the LAT, via a writeup at Editor & Publisher is pretty interesting:

The Los Angeles Times reports today that according to a senior U.S. military officer and Iraqi lawmakers, about 45% of all foreign militants “targeting U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians and security forces are from Saudi Arabia.” Only 15% are from Syria and Lebanon; and 10% are from North Africa. This is based on official U.S. military figures made available to newspaper by the senior officer.

Nearly half of the 135 foreigners in U.S. detention facilities in Iraq are Saudis, he said.

This lie stacks up quite nicely with the biggest of them all..that Iraq was involved in 9/11.

Yet, they are BushCo’s BFF aren’t they?

The sick part is..the 9/11 bombers were from Saudi as well. And a section of American’s still believe Iraq was involved in 9/11 and all the bad guys in Iraq are coming from Iran and Syria.

Those ‘senior military officials’ giving us the truth better be careful…
